Happy Mother's Day

You may be wondering why many of your favorite baseball players are sporting pink armbands today. Is it a new fashion statement? Today in honor of Mother's Day, Major League Baseball has decided to recognize the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer foundation. Along with those pink armbands, the players will also be wearing pink ribbons on their jerseys in support of breast cancer awareness. The lineup cards for today's games are pink and the bases are also commemorative of today's effort, many of these items will be available for auction at a later date (we will post a link here as soon as it is available). Please take the time today to tell your Mother how much she means to you, and also help the Susan G. Komen foundation along with MLB find a cure for breast cancer.
